When I went through my computer, I found some photos I took, mainly last summer. Thought about sharing them with you guys

The pics I'm going to show you first were taken on a small island by Iceland. We borrowed a summerhouse there for a night, and a boat.

This photo was taken on the boat, arriving to the island. You can see the house there

A small "island"

Sunset

My family walking around the island. Mom closest to the camera, then my cousin, then I think it's dad, that's disappearing there.

On the land you see across the sea, is my uncle's farm. The little white dots

What can I say?

My dad, and puffins

Some landscape

EDIT: Forgot to mention.. This island is called Sau?ey, which means sheep-island :w00t: Farmers used to sail there with their sheep, and make them eat grass there.

Those two are indeed my favourites! I simply love the "What can I say?" one.

Don't dare to post the roasted puffins, tho. :ranting:

Thank you, Void, Tai and Strobe!!

Here I have couple of pics that I kinda like. Maybe they're not everybody's cup of tea, but I like the "rawness" of them.

This one is of my little sister. It is taken (like the next one) by our summerhouse. We have a little boat, and often go fishing. I actually dont' know what I find so special about it.. Her position, somehow, she's concentrating on the fish. And the huge gloves

I REALLY can't explain what I like about this one. It is of my sister and my dad. I guess I just like dead fish (when it's not on my dish ) :bleh:

Well... Like I said, maybe not everybody's cup of tea.. But deffinately mine

Cool. A picture showing off actual Icelandic chores. I've gutted fish in my lifetime too. And you Icelandics think us Americans are cremepuffs. :bleh:

Hmm I wouldn't really call it chores... more of a hobby
Most people buy fish from fish-stores, but we never do that. My dad used to be a sailor all year around, but now he only sails in the summer. But we always get free fish, either get it ourselves or someone we know.

[off topic].. So.. Beanbean-kingdom is in America? interesting...

....Oh, darn. Too bad. I had hoped that those were traditional chore I had witnessed.

BTW the Bean-bean kingdom is just where my evil lair is.

I'm pretty sure that "traditional chores" are just the same here as in the US We don't live in iglos, nor in houses made of stones and grass anymore.
