Is it possible to load this game on an XP system? Does it require special drivers or an old Bios to run? I only get a message about the sound card and then nothing! I have never seen it up and running but every review I 've seen says this game is worth the trouble! Has anyone else had the same problems with running this game?

According to the review it is possible to run on XP, however it's not very good.
You will need to use an emulator, and the review recommends Dosbox, which you can download here You should also probably check out the Dosbox tutorial. Hope that this helps you

Use DosBox to run the game. You can download it here.
You might want to check out the official DosBox FAQ, and particularly this part of it. It is quite helpful for users unfamiliar with DosBox. I suggest you also read the pages about command line, internal programs (very important!) and the config file. If that stuff is a bit too much for you, you might consider using one of the multiple frontend programs available. It's all easier then it seems. So remember: DON'T PANIC!!! |

I think the most easy way is run it with VDMSound.
However you must reduce CPU speed setting or the battles in game will be too fast. |
