Yoga, you do realize that Dungeon Hack is a roguelike with DnD, right? Every time you play it you get a new random generated dungeon. Not to mention that you can customize how many levels it should have, how hard the monsters and the puzzles are.

Try as another class. You'll see things dramatically change.

Please do not forget that first game from the game list AB members helped me to create was your game - Dungeon hack. I trust You because You never lie and You show marvelous gaming knowledge.

It been way too long since I last played this game. But I think the fighters have it real hard in this game because they have nothing to fall back to if what they have on hand fail them.

If I remember well, spellcasters and especially the Cleric who can heal himself at will are the easiest classes for this very specific setting.

It depends on difficulty EoF. On higher settings even the Fighter/Cleric gets his head bashed in easily. Especially if you fall into one of the pits and have no rope to get back on the previous level. Around level 4-5 there are some really nasty enemies. But I do agree, healing and especially Spiritual Hammer make the game easier with a cleric.

OK, dear EoF,

I will start as pure Fighter.
Agreed?

Then Your slave aka the brave starts again DH as a Fighter named Eagle.
Edit - Difficulty - Very Hard

Wow!
Now the game is not the same.
As Fighter i have not restoration spells, the volume of bread potion is sign. low. Yes, i started as Hard difficulty.
As Cleric the game was real piece of cake.
But as Fighter is much harder..

never mind the brave is brave.

Told ya, didn't we?

D&D is built with a team of 4 in mind. Canonically, it means: one fighter, one cleric, one rogue and one wizard.

Every class have its specialty and a group should rely on the specialty of the others. This is why it is quite hard for fighters in this game since they don't have the versatile classes like clerics and mages backing him up this time.

What a misfortune, mates?

I played 5 hours and reached good level, when ....

Yes, i was killed and all my save files vanished.

Rats!!!
I can not image so bad trick, never!!!

New battle strategies will be created at once..

Thats cause brave was very careless, thats why...

I ran as real idiot starving to take some valuable object when the enemy appeared suddenly from behind and brave fall dawn with the death of the heroes...

RIP, brave, we will never forget you..

ha ha ha

Your best strategy for a fighter will probably resolve around your best magic item you'll randomly find.
