A fine game that I remember as being both inspired and insane. The interface was awful, with hours spent pixel-hunting. It falls into the trap of all Access games, in that so much time was spent on the digitized graphics and story, that gameplay suffered horribly.

Well, I didn't think it was so terrible... but then that was back when I'd played all the other games on my computer and had hours to spend constantly trying get through a maze or whatever.

Actually, the game really was worth it. Of course, there were times when your inventory has like 5 "Keys" and only the right key opens the right lock. And when there's a couple of lockers next to each other its an issue.

TINY... TINY SPOILER IN NEXT PARAGRAPH (I hate people who put spoilers in with no warning)

I eventually got tired of the game when I was trapped in a room above the lions den. Actually, I clicked 'move' and just about everything imaginable on the screen, after literally hours of playing the game, and playing the game again all the way from the start, seeing if I'd missed anything. Only recently did I decide to go to a walkthrough. Turns out you have to move a particular rock near the dead guy's knee.. and there was absolutely nothing to indicate that was what you have to do.

I eventually got so pissed at the game, also that it ran so badly after I upgraded my computer that I didn't bother finishing it.

However, it will be good fun to play.... the plot is very compelling

This game is quite good, in spite of the "playability" which is pretty hard to stand.

For FILE functions, press "F".
Dunno why there's a "TASTE" button ont the screen, but nothing to
Save/Restore/Quit.

The version I downloaded from here crashes with a memory error
everytime I get killed after leaving the Sanctuary.

Anyone got a patch or know of a different download site?

Thanks.

A quirky, but interesting adventure. The bad Russian accents always crack me up

I remember when I first played (shortly after it was published) I was really amazed of the fantasic graphics. And I liked thegameplay. Can't remember if I found the controls too hard.

Well, today I don't even think of downloading it, 'coz the graphics just look poor ... But as I said I loved it in the nineties.

I like this game and one reason is that I have done it (I mean I was in the end and I finished it). There were places when I wanted to look to walkthrough but everztime I find solution. I am very proud of myself. Thanks for this game.
Bye.
