Well actually i didn't know where to put this, because it's not really a problem. But more a solution.

I've been trying to run my old Terra Nova (HOTU rate it 9.1 out of 10) for years. It just didn't work. i couldnt' get it run on my new pc. it kept giving the message about memorry problem. and since i tried everything up until now i was convinced it all had something to do with FAT32 (cause my old computer where the game worked nice had FAT16).

well it turns out it had everyhting to do with graphics card. and luckilly a guy fixed this problem with a small patch called Vesafix found here:

http://www.billsworkshop.com/banshee/util/vesafx18.zip

It only takes a fraction of memorry and it fixes problems with running Terra Nova as well as Mechwarrior, System Shock and some others.

More information on how to run Terra Nova and use vesafix can be found here:

It's really good they made a few of LG's great games work again. i thought they were lost for ever.

Hey, that's interesting news. I dreamed for long about playing Moraff's Dungeons of the Unforgiven in high resolution of 1024x768 like earlier on Pentium 100 in Ms-Dos, but in DosBox this resolution doesn't work so I was only able to play it in 360x480 which isn't looking as detailled.
Is there somewhere any info available about what games this patch supports? Too lazy at the moment to search

There is on the forums (see above). It's basically add on for DOS, but also works under windows (especially WIN 98 and Win 95). YOu will find how to use it in WIn XP as well (porbably with WDMSound)

Mechwarrior 1 didn't have any problems running in v061. It didn't work in v063, though - maybe that's the answer.

Oh, and Gamefreak... register, dammit! If you are afraid of being banned, then know that a guest can be banned by his IP number - and that would cut you off permamently. So, staying a guest won't protect you.
