To speed it up you need to Get a higher number of cycles. You can increese the number with ctrl + F12. Each time you'll get 500 more cycles. Usually games need 3.000 (deafault settign), some need 6.000 and some even up to 12.000. If the number is too high you can slow it down with ctrl + F11.
About the sound - with F10 (in the game) you can configure the options. Make sure that the DOSBox is set so that it emulates a Soundblaster p:220 h:7 l:1 so these are the setting you should choose. It should work just fine then - It does for me :Brain: |

pick sub-zero stay in sweep stance, then do: forward, forward, down highkick when he's frozen,, get close to him and do: forward.down, forward, forward, high punch. BOOM you should own the actual arcade cabinet and wear your baggy pants when you play this game,, ahah like that guy said. |

What system are you using?
Do you have DOSBox? Do you know what to do with it? Have you tried the things we said to other people (just read a few previous posts)? |

OK!
1) Dosbox is a program that let's you play most of the games that were made for dos, even if you're using a non compatable system like WinXP. So first off all GET DOSBOX. 2) After you download and install DOSBox do this: -unzip the game Mortal Kombat 2 on your X:\ drive (X is the letter of your hard disk - usually C: or D. -run DOSBox (you'll see a black window with white letters on it). -type these commands: mount c X:\mk2 (X is the letter you chose before) c: MK2GUS The game should start now! If it runs slow look at the cycles at the top of the window. You need to encreese them to around 12.000. You can do that by presing ctrl+F12 (it goes up 500 cycles at the time). If you want full screen press alt+enter. Enjoy the game! |
