DIGIPAK
DOWNLOAD

Just notice on my dad's old Tips and Trick of the Game Programming Gurus, I found that the cd came with DIGIPAK. I recalled that it was used in many games to play the sounds we heard. Anyway if you can give a place to host it, I can link it here. Maby even sticky it for people who want to code DOS games?

Also I can give example files that came with the cd, that tell how to do input, graphics, sound, 3d coding, ect (in dos of course).

Well it sounds quite old to me..
Would it not be better to use something newer that works with DOS such as Allegro ?

But it sounds good anyways, you can host it on www.ihud.com (50MB MAX)

mmm ok, that same book I have showed how different areas of DOS games were coded, ie music, sound, sprites, clipping ect. It also came with some source code so Ill post it here. ALSO it came with a basic FPS engine that ustalized all the code in the book. Its kinda Wolfenstienish so don't expect anything awsome. Still good if you want to know where to begin on coding certain part of a game. Ill post it soon.

Also this is the book where I am getting everything:
