There is a main quest line in Morrowind, which you automatically follow (it's the Blades-trail), but there are very many side-quests and every guild offers its own quest-line. So, you can play for weeks without following the main quest, but you can also finish to game in a couple of days if you forget about all the other quests.

Morrowind has it's flaws and certainly isn't the best RPG ever written, but it's vast, detailed and has given (and still gives) me hours of fun (too many hours in fact ). That's why I'm looking forward to Oblivion k:
That's the problem, although I followed the main story somehow, I never really knew I was.

And yeah, I can catch one for many hours, that's true. I played it for some time until I finally gave up

@Tulac:
Read my last few lines and shut up, thank you.

Yes I did, I never said you suck or whatever, I just sayed it's impossible to judge (any) game before it even came out...

How can you make an opinion about the game that hasn't come out yet?

And don't tell me to shut up, ever...

The eye-candy is also nice
When I was playing, i skipped most of the important talking bits, and never found out there was an actual story until the end. The end being when my computer crashed (stupid computer :ranting: ) I had only finished the bit with the puzzle box when it crashed, but before that i had gone right round all the towns and funky landmarks and all, got a seriously massive arsenal of weapons and armour, suitable for any situation, which i had stored in 3 houses in the starting village (forgot the name), filled any remaining space up with tonnes of useless items (horder :bleh: ), and completed a very large chunk of side quests (im not sure how many there were so i cant make an estimate, but id done alot of them). And then tragedy struck. But anyway life goes on, eh?

Ok, bought it.
Must say, a bit over-hyped, but still worth the wait.
If you had to ask me, a nine out of ten.

It isn't as confusing as before, but when that d00d voiced by that freak Picard in Star-Feces or whatever it was got his azz beaten out the hizzy, I was all like WTF.

Or in other words, interesting plot comes into play almost as soon as the game starts. :P

Oh, just noticed most of you guys don't get this game till later.
AAHHAAHHAAH!! Go USA!

It won't be released in NL until the 24th... I'm a bit jealous... Off course, I'm still broke at the release date and don't see any room in my budget for the next couple of months to spend €50 on the Collector's Edition :ranting:
Maybe it'll be 'Nice Price' by the time I'm getting it

Yeah man, the price is crazy, who decided that 360 games should cost 60 dollars? I look at the PC one and it was only 50 (this is all US). Since I bought the Collector's Edition for the 360, I spent 70 dollars.
And that's alot!

Must say, a bit over-hyped....

You mean, the fact that every day for the last month saw a new interview, preview, group of screenshots or trailer, seemed just a bit over the top?

It was an understatement, and it was purposely done so, haven't ever heard someone make a statement like that?

Well, if you're going to play it with the hype in mind you are going to be horribly dissapointed, because it isn't the holy grail of all entertainment ever conceived.
It is a good game though :P
