It needs to be enabled in the settings before starting the game.

DOSBox, right?
Not the fake built-in Windows version?

I dont understand the fields...

The waterfields produce flowers. The flowerfields parfume, the rabbits water.

Are this products only for trading or do i need for example water to let the flowers grow?!

When i want to build a waterfield. there are two bars. one with water, one with parfume. the bars sometimes red, sometimes yellow or blue..

what mean the length of the bars and the colors???

It is all connected:

So to build new Waterfields you need water, to mantain them you need perfume.
You need perfume to get the Rabbits where you need them, and they eat: Flowers !
Flowers need to be planted, so you need them to build them (whoa!) and they need water.

Another Hint for you: Not everything grows best on every Landscape. So Flowers like the mountains, Rabbits the woods, and the Waterfields like the Desert...
They all grow Best on grass.
Rockets ( or Snail-houses we would like to say ) have no such preferences, but you cant build them on grass ( they would burn the beautyful grass)

The bars when builing indicate if you have enough recources to build.

I really like this game. Did you recognize the "Nostromo" sometimes when you fly to a planet? Perhaps you know this from somewhere else. Not that you might find an "ALIEN" in there..

Have Fun
