Didn't noticed it before. Now I did, but I don't use it. Just WinXp, Win98, and of corse DosBox.

VDMS is a little like dosbox, it simulates some dos hardware like soundblaster and MSCDEX and so on. Still, it is not everything that is simulated. It basicly means, that the games that normally works in windows without sound, now works WITH sound.

Dosbox works with more games, while VDMS is a lot faster. So if you have a game, that runs as slow as a snail in Dosbox, try if it works in VDMS. k:

I'm using VDMSound all the time. I hardly get a game in the way refusing to work with XP here...

I had some problems with the mouse in "Elder Scrolls - Arena" when I use VDMS. I don't know if it's me who's just a morron. <_< Thats the only problem I had until now!
