Default Discworld: get the music right?

I got my hands on a genuine copy of the CD version of Discworld, and I get it running in dosbox (after applying the 1.04 patch, it works smoothly), but wat bothers me is that I don't get the music as nice as I hear in in this video:

First: while in the video the music already starts on the "Discworld" title screan (where the "press any button" appears), this is not the case with my version. It only starts playing at the animation of the flying turtle. The music in the video also sounds as if it's a complete orchestra, while my music sounds as simple midi files on a simple midi output device.

Also tried the images on Abandonia, but without luck.

Does anybody of you gets the same music (quality) as heard in the video I posted? In the meanwhile I also installed VirtualMidiSynth to upgrade midi sound in dosbox, but without succes for Discworld.

Any help is welcome. I'd love to hear if someone here actually gets the same sound as in the video. And if so, what image he/she is using?
