first of all, I CAN'T BELIEVE that stroggy is supporting the idea of punishing him(the fact that he's with politics and all of that).This is not some kind of race to make the fastest punishment once someone has done something wrong.It shocked me how fast some members rushed to punish him.As i said before, danny is an old abandonia member... so this is how we repay his "loyalty"?The first time he does something wrong we immediatly punish him??If he was new that would have been understandable.
second of all, i hope ...pirate is being sarcastic because we DON'T need another spammer NOR do we need a similar situation.

I am indeed very involved with politics
and this entire situation reminds me of the kind of UN meeting I hate.

1)The punishment was not severe, at all.
2)The punishment was just
3)Danny was aware that he was spamming
4)Danny was aware of the punishment on spamming (I had said that in my own forum we used to lower postcoutns if somebody would spam, to that The Picard said the same rule applies here at abandonia.com)
Rules are not meant to be decorations, they are here to be applied if the situation presents itself.

I believe a person should only be warned when he has done something that could result in a ban (but a ban should always be preceded by a warning or two) but even so he was warned (when The Picard stated again the punishment for spamming and serveral times when i asked him to stop spamming and others notified him he coiuld be punished by the forum moderators) so yous ee, nobody 'jumped' on him. he didn't make 5 spam posts and his psotcoutn was lowered instantly, no, he was warned by both the members and the moderator(s).

Now I also hear quite a few people saying how its unfair towards Danny, but he hismelf has not said anything on his part.
Perhaps he is man enough to admit he made a small mistake instead of running away for soemthing as small as this.
because, contrary to what you say, it is these kinds of threads these "his punishment was unfair" that blow the situation all out of proportion and act as if this is a great shock.

Hell u guys really stuffed up with your " Tougher then thou moderater" attitude.. Danny was one of the only guys who really helped me out .. U just pushed and pressured him too much...

And Omeletzu I was joking, and being sarcastic.. but we still need to be humorous about this only to show em they havent ruffled us !!

He'll be back, its a matter of time. I restored his post count, let's just cool down... I've known him for a long time, and know him good enough that I know he would restore his post count very soon, not that it means anything...

So, do we give up on this?
