Default Heroes of might and Magic error msg

hi, i have installed HoMM1 and i get the following error msg:

"you must have the heroes win95 cd in the cd-rom drive to play Homm. please insert the cd and try again."

ive heard about daemon tools, but dont know how to use it:

1)virtual cd/dvd-rom->set number of devices...->1->"I"

2)virtual cd/dvd-rom->device0:[I:]no media->mount image->select new image file->???

dont know what to do now, there arent any images in my homm folder.

or doesnt daemontools solve my problem?

and how the heck did you manage to put this on your pc then? cause you just had to install it from the image to get those files on your pc

edit: oh, i know... you opened the iso with winRAR didn't you. well, now unzip the file you downloaded from abandonia (homm1.iso) and mount that one in to daemon tools, don't unpack homm1.iso any further manualy

load your c: drive as a cdrom
put in Z:\>MOUNT C C:\ -T cdrom
then cd the folders open
and it will read it like a cd and open
