This is very much my most favorite one in the bards tale trilogy. (No, that new one is not a bards tale game at all to me).

Anyway, I finally found an online .pdf scan of the hint book that I had a hard copy of for the last 16 or so years over here:

http://www.bardstale.de/

Have a look around, you should find it. It's a total kick arse walkthrough resource with a cool story through out where they sort of dream the whole adventure and recon it all before actually going on it. The other games are covered there too.

Oh yes, and don't forget the dream spell..... ZZGO .........

And I almost forgot, my tip for good EXP, go to Oscans fortress level 1, and find brockters to fight. What you want to do is have your mages cast DIIL (only need to cast it once), and just keep defending as long as you want. When you get sick of disrupting their summoned illusions, kill them and reap the massive EXP rewards.

Arrow maps...

If you search for" maps bards tale 2 " , you may find as I did, maps for the apple II BT 2. I believe they are the same maps for all versions of BT 2. Of course, half the fun of BT 2 is the mapping.

I made a patch that will bypass the copy protection, so when this game is not protected anymore I can provide.

One of my favorite old games. I liked the puzzles and riddles. I don't know about the Amiga version, but the Apple IIgs version has awesome music and graphics as well.
