Go to Ccontrol Panel -> Sound and Audio Devices -> Audio
What does it say in the Midi section?

What program are you trying to play them with? Or, which program is Windows trying to use to play them?

Do you get a particular error, such as codec not found? Or is the file playing but no sound coming out?
Edit: You might want to check Control Panel > Sound and Audio Devices -> Audio (tab) -> MIDI Music Playback (Section on that tab) and see which device is being used for playback. There might be multiple listed. Try a different one to see if that works k: |
