I know... I just want to have opinions about the "big picture"...
It just about me, or it's in an abandonian guy soul to prefer a good remake more than an unpredictable sequel of a masterpiece like that?

I think that the other thread was enough for discussing this... but I think that a remake is always received with more anticipation than a sequel, because of all the fan base that love the original. Obviously, this can backlash, with all the fans shouting what a big steaming pile of crap is the remake and how they managed to kill everything good about the original.
The sequels, on the other side, are sometimes cut some slack because people expects them to be at least slightly different from the original. |

Wow! Monkey Island with voices, me wantee. But then again they could really mess it up. I'm going to hope they do it right. One thing I was unclear on is are they only releasing this game on XBox Live?

I've found the voices in the trailer of the remake, very good
 As I've understood, both games will be also for PC...

I'm mostly just glad they ditched the horrible Escape from Monkey Island interface. It showed that Lucas' priorities were with consoles instead of PC. The system that Telltale Games use, is a very good one.

I'm REALLY looking forward to this one! Not very many games lately that I care much about. I was looking forward to the new Ghostbusters, but they ditched Multi-play on the PC, so that blew it for me. But the new Monkey Island... That has got to be GOLD!
