I downloaded Sanitarium from the Underdogs, but guess what, it crashes on my XP system all the time. No I read something about there being a patch for playing it on XP, but I cannot find it with google.
Does anyone now where to download it or does any one have it and can mail it to me? Thanks a lot Z |

Hey Zarkumo,
maybe this fix will help you run superb Sanitarium: Sanitarium (Fix) Do you have inicial release by ASC Games or lately re-release by XS Games (2002)? /wallymian :bye: |

I don't know, whatever the Underdogs got up there on their site.
Is that the level 2 fix? I already have that. That file has 0 downloads?? I'll check it out, thank you! :bye: |

You're welcome
Nope it's not "level2 patch". This one should help you run Sanitarium. Anyway I finished ASC Games version on WinXP (without any Service Pack) some time ago and besides that never need level2 patch. I have both ASC Games / XS Games releases, I wish I have some spare time to check their WinXP compatibility. /wallymian |

Sorry about reopening a dormant thread but I just downloaded Sanitarium from the ISO place on here and it still doesn't work. I tried different compatibility settings, disabling acceleration in DirectX and installing the patches but the game still crashes shortly after starting all I see is a video and, a loading screen and then it crashes.

Apparently there's some useful info at http://home.earthlink.net/~infernofi...rium_Setup.htm
In addition, some kind of patch has been posted above: http://dlh.net/cgi-bin/patdl.cgi?lan...upd.zip&ref=ps |

We need a Win95 box at this rate. Anyways, I hope someone provides with the XS version, it seems a lot more XP-friendly. I'll try the suggestions and see if they work.

We have.
This is a 'W98SE' box, runs Sanatarium perfectly, if properly set up. But I must say I have the original game, not downloaded, don't know the quality of the ISOs, but they should be good I guess ....
