The best hot seater in the entire known universe. I played it for years with three friends, we called ourselves The Circle and met once a week to battle. The best gaming days I can remember. The subsequent warlords games were crap though.

How can I play it? When I start it, it appears a head saying welcome to warlords, but it doesn't disappear, so I can't use the menu behind it! (???)

Me again. I downloaded the game and it works just fine. Ah ! The memories when I hear "Greetings warlord". Now, a couple of years after releasing this game, SSG released a Deluxe edition which contained a scenario editor and lots of new armies. That was way cool. You could design your own armies and terrain types for the maps (like caves or lava). I don't wanna ask for the moon, but if you guys could upload it... I would go to nearest shrine and bless you !!!

YES i LOVE that game but one day i really hope that the deluxe version of Warlords 2 will be abandonware since those two are the best

Question: Does this version load saved games properly?
My old one can save them but freaks out when trying to load...

Yeah, same here. I'm running DOSbox, and have tried various keys (esc, enter etc) and also tried several of the EXE files but all the same.

I'm also having the same problem. I use Win98, so Dosbox doesn't work for me.

Ok, I got it to work by turning off the sound. Click on Install to do this. Then I could play it straight out of windows.
