when u download games off the site are they full games ? just wondered as the size is quite small on some of them.

great site by the way. i found the legend of kyrandia 3 on it. what a find!

have the compatibilty issue been resolved with the games to make them playable on xp ?

well they are small cause they're old

if you want them to work on xp use DOSBOX

will this DOSBOX help me if I have the game (by that i mean i bought it) and want to run it on XP?

Yes. DosBox emulates a dos machine, and since XP is not based on dos, as opposed to Win9x, you would probably need it. Another tool is VDMSound. Go to Programs on the main page here, and get them. Read the FAQs for setting them up and tuning the performance, then feel free to ask if there still are any issues with them.

Second: Some games has been ripped and "unneccessary" files removed. That means some "talkies" had the voice files taken out. These files are usually big, making the game too big for Abandoniia. In some cases these missing files are downloadable as extras.

the game i was reallty interested in getting working is The Legend Of Kyrandia 3 : Malcolms Revenge. it was a great old game and i have the actual game cd from back in the day. problems is as u said it wont wokr on XP.

the problem was with that game fro some reason it only wanted to work though a boot disk that i had from ages ago and that hinders me a bit getting it to work
