you still haven't told us the mount commands you typed.
Those are essential

Enter "mount" without parameters and tell us what info shows.

Please post the "mount" command, the line you typed to mount a virtual drive in DOSBox.

It should look something like this example:

mount c c:\dos\games

Also consider that your download of DOSBox itself was corrupted, in which case you need to download it again.

These are NOT drive mounts.

Am I supposed to understand you never ever mounted any drives and don't have any mounts defined in the [autoexec] section of dosbox.conf?

I'm asking you again - and for the last time - to post exact commands - every one - you entered after launching DOSBox and the [autoexec] section of your DOSBox.conf. Otherwise we cannot help you.

Can md even work in DOSBox? It's an old command to create directories under DOS, but I was under the impression that it's not a valid command under DOSBox.

you are a long time dosbox user.
md has been supported at least since 0.50 (as since then the source is public available)

You might want to update one of these days.

Even help/all>help.txt works.
Gives you a help.txt with: (after a bit of a cleanup)

CLS>Clear screen.
COPY>Copy files.
DIR>Directory View.
DEL>Removes one or more files.
DELETE>Removes one or more files.
ERASE>Removes one or more files.
ECHO>Display messages and enable/disable command echoing.
EXIT>Exit from the shell.HELP>Show help.
MKDIR>Make Directory.
MD>Make Directory.
RMDIR>Remove Directory.
RD>Remove Directory.
SET>Change environment variables.
IF>Performs conditional processing in batch programs.
GOTO>Jump to a labeled line in a batch script.
SHIFT>Leftshift commandline parameters in a batch script.
TYPE>Display the contents of a text-file.
REM>Add comments in a batch file.
RENAME>Renames one or more files.
Press any key to continue.
REN>Renames one or more files.
PAUSE>Waits for 1 keystroke to continue.
CALL>Start a batch file from within another batch file.
SUBST>Assign an internal directory to a drive.
LOADHIGH>Loads a program into upper memory (requires xms=true, umb=true).

CHOICE>Waits for a keypress and sets ERRORLEVEL.
ATTRIB>Does nothing. Provided for compatibility.

Good job from the dosbox team I would say.

I'm not the one needing help, I been mod of troubleshooting for a while here y'know. <_<

I never used MD as a command, and I frankly don't see why I would need to use it either. I always create the directories in Windows, unzip the game then use DOSBox to run the game.

On another note, the last DOSBox version I've installed on my computer is 0.63...

I think you should update to 0.7x. It's several times faster than 0.63, and the stability and speed of Dynamic Core went through the roof. (tested that myself)
