You ever see him un-plug a toilet? [/b][/quote] I've seen him fix the plumbing. Does any one else remember the cartoon? It had the beginning and the ending with actors (the cartoon was in between). They actaully were un-pluging thing from time to time! |

I don't really see why Nintendo would support communism AND german fascism. But now I realize why I've become a socialist; I played Super Mario on my friend's Super Nintendo .

I think the whole thing is retarded.
I really don't think there was too much thought put into the stories behind these games, at least not enough to make them allegorical. I think the story-creating process went more along the lines of "uhh...let's have an elf. But no, not tolkien's elf. Our elf rules high. Hyrule......Goddammit, let's just have him kill some bastards for some stupid tri-force or something!" Anaylise anything like this for too long and you're bound to come up with an allegory. That's why allegories suck. |

Don't know if you read the article but there's a distinct air of tongue-in-cheekness about it. It feels like an idea someone had when stoned, then realised there were actually a lot of things that fitted it.

You can make sense of anything when you're stoned.

amusing as this article may be, it's just another guy with too much time on his hands, he's taken an innocent and loved video game character and turned it into something it isn't... meh i like things made in the 80's that aren't "PC" in this decade, like the tv show 'Monkey' and their overuse of the word 'poofter' |
