problem with drive pointers?

im not sure what the problem is but i unzipped bandits of china and put it on my c: and it tells me it cant find a dat file on the a:.... so i figured it needed to be on a floppy, so i stick all the files on a 3.5 floppy drive and run it from there and now it says it needs another dat file from the b:..... what the heck am i suppose to do?

specs:
xp professional
only 1 floppy drive
p3 966mhz

Have you tried running it in DOSBox? That might be easier.
