still amusing.
werden is the future form of sein and also become.
there was this thing a german said in a restaurant:
"waiter! could i become a beafsteak?"
"i hope you will!"
because the german word bekommen means to get sth.
anyway, i think in frankfurt, you will be fine just speaking english,
because that is the first language for almost every german to learn,
and btw some germans have funny accents.
btw, when is your trip?

next week. unfortuantly im from norfolk so "a couple of weeks" can means anything up to a month. just like the norfolk mile can actually mean 5 miles. :bleh:

But, you're right, it's funny to hear some people. I have to give you a mp3, with some old people trying to sing "Somebody's knocking"... Hahaha. I've seen the paper with the text. That's why they sung so right. "Sambadis noking".
