Both fantastic games... Wing Commander Privateer/Righteous Fire and Freelancer as well as Star Lancer, all made by Chris Roberts. The later under the origin label with Freelancer and Star Lancer made under Digital Anvil, a company formed by Chris for the productions published under the Microsoft label. There was also an online MMORPG by the name of Earth and Beyond... it only lasted a year and a half... I think one of the problems was they didn't take advantage of the huge Wing Commander customer base and continue or remake the story line.
