Okay, DosBox basically solved all of my sound and other DOS game issues, but I forgot I no longer have a gameport joystick, and it doesn't recognize my USB joystick. I searched the forums and read the docs, but didn't see anything about this, is there a workaround for this???

I thinked abuot a trick, but i've not tried it, so i'm not sure it will function with Dosbox...

You could try to use the program JoyToKey (you can find it googling a bit): that program converts joystick input into keyboard input.

I can't assure you that it work even when Dosbox is running, but give it a try... and let me know! k:

Yeah, I've heard of JoyToKey - but I want the inputs to register as analog movements.

I was hoping there was a way for DosBox to emulate the gameport and then mount my USB joystick to it's emulated gameport, but I may have been hoping for too much . . .

Actually, they steered me straight on it . . . I haven't tested it out yet, but I wanted to post back here in case anyone else was having the same problems.
