I for my part think this idea isn't safe enough. The interviewing might bring little too much attention from the game companies to our site. But if it's known for sure that this won't damage our site in any way, I'm for it.

The only one that springs into mind as safe interview objects are those producers who are giving their games away for free themselves. (Like the guys behind the game ELITE).

And the old guys from Sierra (Al Lowe, Ken & Roberta Williams, the Coyles, Scott Murphey and Mark Crowe), the designer from Commander Keen (Tom Hall), Femo Duo Entertainment (the guys behind Enclosure... which isn't on the site, but still... ). It has potential danger, yes, if you don't do decent research as to how the designers themselves stand towards their old work. Otherwise, it may make a fine addition.

Well I don't think it's really worth it. But I suppose my opinion doesnt really matter all that much. So do whatever you think is best.

Instead of whining continuously about your self-supposed lack of importance (thus raising your post count
 ) why don't you try to help out to become more important? Everyone must work to gain a reputation, and I don't think you lack abilities to do that.  |
