Default Jack Flash - Mutiny of the Things

Hello Community,
I decided to create an account here.I often visit abandonia because I love these games I always fel like being in the past MSDOS time

I'm searching so long for a game called "Mutiny of the Things". It was produced by the German "CAPS Software Ulm". It is a Jump'n'run game where the hero, Jack Flash, has to run through different levels, sucking energy out of living shoes, teeth etc...
I've been searching for so long and on so much sites but I didn't find it.
If anyone can help me, please do it! It would be so nice to play this game once more
I would be so thankful

Thanks for reading

If the game was originally released in German, are you sure that you have the corret translation of the title, because I can't seem to find reference to it or the company anywhere, not on Moby Games, or even with a bit of Googling...

I'll have a look for you Orter, but don't get your hopes up because I can only speak 4 words of German (and none of those are polite ones )

Perhaps a native speaker might be able to help more than me?

Anyways, I'll let you know if I can find anything about it...

Hello again
I found the game now as a zip-file, but it doesn't work.I hope you can help me.
I wanted to start it with DOSBox. When I want to start the game, a filecheck is done (belongs to the game) and then I get the message " Jack_XMS_Init: BP-Error! "
Does anybody have an idea what I can do now? I don't know so much about it, so sorry if it's a Nerd question

If you want to try the game, you get it here: http://www.crummy.com/warren/files/01/

I hope, you can help me

Thanks for reading, Love and Kisses

Did you try to disable the XMS memory in DosBox? Just search for that lines in dosbox.conf:

[dos]
# xms -- Enable XMS support.
# ems -- Enable EMS support.
# umb -- Enable UMB support (false,true,max)

Change the line
xms=true
to
xms=false

Maybe this will help. If it doesn't, I can upload the full game for you since I still own it from the ancient Gold Games collection.

I downloaded the DosBox 0.7 and it worked, but unfortuantely it is only the shareware version.
Would you be so nice to load it up?
I've never played the full version of the game. Even in those days I just owned the shareware version, whrer only the first level is playable.
That would be so nice from you
