On the internet Archive you can find a gazillion free movies. Granted, they're ancient, but some of them are pretty good (7's and 8's even in the IMdB). DVD-quality mpegs with decent download speeds (I've had up to 3000 kb/s). Also a lot of vintage cartoon (Betty Boop etc.) and old-school documentaries... Oh man, i'm having a ball :w00t:

He-hey. Although there are a lot of old documentaires (I'm hoping to find "The Man in the Barn" - it's a conspiracy story connected to the murder of Abraham Lincoln), there are many great cartoons!

Haven't been through all of it, but some things look really promising (a lot of Betty Boop if nothing else)!

EDIT: Oh, oh, oh, and did I mention a TON of western movies??? Excelent site.
don't look at these movies as OLD, look at them as classics (many are much better then the ones they're making today - although these are mostly B-rated or less pictures). It's kindda like with the games we have on Abandonia... In fact, I saw they do have some games there...
Maybe we should try to connect with them?

EDIT2: Reup! This site has got NOSFERATU!!! I spent 29.99$ to get that movie about a year ago, right now I could get it for free. I'm not sorry though it's an excelent movie. So I do recomend it to EVERYBODY!!!

They seem to have lobbied themselves quite a deal there... we might be able to learn from them k:

, they have the old Tarzan films! Reup: I'm a little kid and you just gave me a whole candystore! :w00t:

:Brain: :tnx:

BTW - I saw they lobbied for the exception in the copyright law... We should deffinetly get in touch with them. But they also have gmae reviews (without the downloads). Maybe we could co-operate in that department...

Wow Reup- thanks! Some titles I'd never heard of but they sound more interesting than the newer movies. Check out Carnival Of Souls for some thrills and chills.
