Well... I did study biology for a while, and gardening is a hobbie of mine. The stem does seem a bit short, and lillies usually have a quadrupule form, but I'm puzzled by those petal endings. |

I just found out that the flower doesn't bloom (?) anymore ... Sorry so we probably won't find out what kind it is until there will be flowers again ...
Here is some other pieces of my nature-photography: 1) a bumble bee 2) same one but larger ... 3) my desktop background at work BTW: My cam is a Sony P 200 - nothing more ... So go out everyone and discover nature ! |

Nice swiss! You have a weird fascination with spiders......
I hate them (shudder) but you capture them very well! k: I'm starting to think we should have a "name that flower" thread |

Actually I hate spiders !
The only thing that makes me photograph them is that "fascination of disgust" (?) and curiosity on how they look in detail ... I think it's much more interesting to photograph creeping objects instead of just flowers or people ... (And mostly I say that 'coz I can't do any other photography than flowers and insects  ) ... |

Swiss could show us just part of a flower, or even a bitmap \ black & white photo of a flower, and we have to guess what it is. k: |
