Can somebody pls nelp?
My grafics card is "NVIDIA Riva TNT2 Model 64". I downloaded and installed the latest drivers for the card, but I cannot get a OpenGL feature. In a few words, I can`t play games that require OpenGL . My card is pretty old by now, it has 16mb of RAM. Maybe that is the problem...
I had no problems using Windows 98, the problem occured when i instaled Windows XP (servise pack 1).
Thank you in advance k:

Well, the simplest solution is to stay with Windows 98.

Agreed.

When your card was popular, Windows2k was only in the beginning (don't say about Windows XP :-D). No wonder that nothing works. :-)

I also own that card :tai:

I got the full driver package from Microsoft Update Database.
Problem is, that you have to install Genuine Advantage Validation tool, which sucks. <_<

So either stay with your card or make sure, that you have a legal windows.

EVERYONE has one, right guys?

if you download drivers from microsoft they come without opengl...
(because opengl is the enemy of directx)

Cackles yeah the day microsoft include open gl drivers with directx ones on their site. Will be the day they either take over open gl or the suddenly start doing random things.

Nevermind everybody.... At the end, I bought another card NVIDIA GeForce 256 from a friend of mine. It`s not that much better than my old one, but at least I have OpenGL now.

Did anyone had that card or has it now? Can you tell me is it any good?

P.S. Thanks for the help, I appreciate that very much
