Sheesh. Try to cough up some more details on the game, or people will just be firing wild shots trying to guess it out of the blue.
Otherwise, I give this thread a 48 hour pre-emptive warning before it is locked to avoid it becoming a spamfest or flamefest.

How did you play the game? Mouse, Keyboard, Joystick? Was it parser based? What gender was the main hero? Anything is helpful.

hm... by any chance was it one of those games that when you moved your mouse to the edge of the screen it turned a red arrow and you would go in that direction. I seem to remember some game like that with forests and clouds or something.

it was a side scroller definately (ie, play across the screen)
