Congee is a thicker version of porridge popular with the cantonese in particular.

what this means is that Kant wants you to ask yourself the question, "could I want everyone to act exactly as I am about to act?" To give an example, I am about to break a promise because it suets me at the moment. Can I wish for everyone to break their promises when ever it suets them? Obviously not, so I cannot make a universal law of it and therefore it fails the Categorical Imperative.
