I can run it and it doesn't work, when C&C3 patches itself (and you need to do it to play online) it will have measures against those programs.
So no dice.

An older topic:

I hope those can be read without being registered.

wow, they seem to be pretty pissed.

but seriously, this is ridiculous. buddies around here got their pirated versions from the net days ago already and enjoy the game while the real customers dont even get a word from the developers and the game keeps telling that their version is pirated

I'll try to do some research on polish site of the developer (gram.pl) to help You.

EDIT:
I do not know if this problem was written in english anywhere so i'm translating:
1. Uninstall CloneCD, Alcohol, Daemon-Tools
2. Restart computer
3. uninstall STPD
To uninstall it download this:
http://www.duplexsecure.com/download...t-v150-x86.exe
Run it and choose UNINSTALL (Do not install it again)
4. restart computer
5. Regedit.exe
6. Delete the registry keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall\{E9F81423-211E-46B6-9AE0-38568BC5CF6F}
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\32418F9EE1126 B64A90E8365B85CFCF6
7. In device manager delete these devices:
SCSI & RAID --> A347SCSI SCSI Controller
System devices --> Plug & Play BIOS Extension
8. regedit.exe again
9. Delete these keys now:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\a347scsi
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\a347bus
10. Go to C:\Windows\system32 and delete these files:
a347scsi.sys
a347bus.sys
11. restart computer
12. I hope it will work

These are from official CD Projekt website. I hope these are helpful, and will work. Here is a link also in my language:

From what I understand the copyright protection kicks in if it detects the PRESENCE of SCSI driver DLLs in the system. Gaaak.

It's like a second StarForce.

BTW, I strongly advise against trying the advice about setting the DVD drive to PIO mode. Most DVD recorders can be permamently damaged this way.

Apparently there's also a problem with Tages and SATA drives, which it detects as if it were SCSI.
With other words: those with SATA drives are screwed. The only fix would be to install an older drive.

You know, I think the copy protection companies are bigger criminals then the pirates, to be honest. They're extorting the entire industry, bunch of mobsters.

*chuckle*
Looks like they decided to screw over most of future buyers of their games. Many of the computers sold nowadays come with SATA drives as standard.
