Default Political Games

No I don't mean games that place you in the feet of some duly elected representative of a nation backing you with lover, subsidies, and guns in which you will turn around and turn their lives into a living hell as you declare martial law and take away all their freedoms.

Im saying...

THATCHER IS HERE!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrQEM...022&feature=iv

Honestly when political parties start making games, i think things have gone too far. Now that was in 1986, but even today we can see the effects of politics (to some extent) in games, whether being funded by a certain group, OR being co produced in unison with them.

Well, my example was goona be America's Army, but on second thought..

But honestly this brings to mind a new thought.

Britain, being Britain and full of people with lovable accents and horrid teeth has always been, by some, looked upon as an equal democratic society with a jolly fat lady running the government all the while the cobble stone streets are full of high industrial era dressed rich folk and lovable poor people, when in fact that jolly fat lady is nothing more of a figure head, the class range has a starking (i don't think thats a word) range of rich to poor with a middle class living in apartment flats somewhere in there, a democracy of different parties being as racist to each other as Caucasians can be racist to other Caucasians, and...well.

Well basically what im trying to say is that England is slowly carving it's own road to self destruction because of a number of limiting factors, mostly those made by the government which has led to the mass cluster fuck of problems in England that is Liberalism and immigration which is leading to ethnic violence and political inequality. I mean heck, England has spent the entire year pissing off the European Unions president (that guy with the big eyes who's from Belgium) and talking about reforming European politics when the only politics that need reformation is that of England itself, lest it be overthrown (well not over thrown, but if we look at it in a Civ 4 sorta sense; culture pwn3d) by the numerous culture groups who keep sodding off on eachother's faces over problems caused by the government and not by that of the ethnic group their all pissy about.

This kinda got off topic.

really what im trying to explain (in a horrible manner at that) is that politics in democratic countries have no place in the personal virtual lives of a given person of said country (e.g governments forcing the censorship of a game, yet they still have porn on tv, etc. capitalism at it's best; as long as they're getting paid, they let the people have their way!) yet they do anyways. Im glad I live in Canada. no censorship and im not being bombarded with political views of liberal's!

Though Mr. Jack Layton is prolly planning some sorta amazing NDP related game cause he fails at everything else political wise.

P.S: in regards to the video, Vinnie's Existential experience made me laugh for like 5 minutes straight

England is being stubborn, because it knows that the Union is just a big assimilation contraption, so it decided that when this "assimilation" ends they will be on top.

Fun fact: the games in Ashen's video weren't real. He animated them in Flash. Also, British people don't have horrid teeth. In fact, they have the best in the world.

Are we talking about political videogames or something else?
