Fields of Glory Install Probs
I just downloaded FOG and it only comes with an Install .exe , not preloaded as other great games on this site has. I'm not quite sure how to use this method in conjunction with dosbox. I have had no problems with other games, such as Acsendency, which unzipped with the entire program intact. Any help would be appreciated..ps this site rocks..I'm reliving the '90s..lol

Run DOSBox.
Mount some directory as your C drive. The installation program should be in a subdirectory of it. Switch to C. Enter the subdirectory. Run the installation program. > Install Game > Install Standard Version > OK > C: > OK > Install Wait till it finishes > OK > Exit Installer The game will be installed in C:\FOG . Run fog.bat Sound Card > Sound Blaster Pro (later) Address > 220 IRQ > 7 DMA > 1 And you're good to go. |

Please note that WoG is a very old game. It might expect that you have the install.exe file in the A: floppy drive. If it is the case then you need to mount the floppy with the "-t floppy" suffix added to the mount command.
