Blizzard Working To Get Warcraft 1-2 Working On Modern Systems
Blizzard have hinted that they're updating Warcraft 1 and 2 to work better on modern operating systems.
At Blizzcon, when a fan asked if Blizzard could possibly fix the old Warcraft games up to work on modern PCs, J. Allen Brack (WoW production director) responded "So, we actually have a guy on our team — actually several guys on our team — who are actually working on a side project to do something like that in some form or fashion. We’re fans of Warcraft 1, Warcraft 2, Warcraft 3, and we’d love to replay those games for sure". There's not really much more information beyond that. They don't say whether or not these updated versions will need Battle.net, or if they're doing any other work on them. Read the full article here. |
