I purchased a bundle including Monkey Island Madness (MIM) a while ago (It came with a copy of Monkey Island III), and I have recently experienced some problems with it. I was wondering if anyone knew of a fix. MIM is a cd with MI 1 and 2 that runs from windows (I believe that it was intended for 95), and I can't get the sound to work for either game. Is this a common problem and is there any way around it? I am running a newish computer with XP home edition and a creative SB Live! (WDM) sound card. I have both service packs installed (the game may have worked before the service packs, but I am unsure).

Head over to:

http://www.scummvm.org/downloads.php and download Scummvm O.70

Try running the game with this program, and see if it helps with the sound.
