Yes, Clock Tower is good.
But I ABSOLUTLY must suggest that you find a translated ROM of the SNES version, for it's 100 times better than the PS1 remake.

I always found Zombie a very good horror game. Very nice little music (at least on the ST, haven't tried the DOS version (which I am certain exists) ), nice graphics and you can't go more horror like zombies. It's an RPG in real time where your group of people must manage to get to safety. They start at the top of a tall building where there is a helicopter, and must find a way to survive where everyone else is a zombie. It is great to move around the mall picking up supplies while watching your back for an attack by them.
The viewpoint and battle system is a bit similar to Bloodwych (a great, but no horror, rpg). I don't know if it is abandonware since I don't remember who made the game/published it. |

I'm a big fan of point n clicks, so I'll give Whtie Chamber a try at some point. It's in a similar vein to Darkseed which I also recommend
Clock Tower is the game with the serial killer with a giant pair of scissors right? And you have to hide from him in wardrobes and the like

White Chamber isn't bad. but rather short. Darkseed is a decent horror, but at times it just gets plainly ridiculous in gameplay terms (not plot), and likes to crash.
My recommendation: Shadow of the Comet. It's a little difficult in terms of interface, but two elements overcome this with a large surplus: 1. Cthulhu Mythos and 2. quite good puzzle elements. |
