I downloaded Pool of Radiance and unzipped the file to get the poolrad folder. I'm running MS-DOS from Windows 98. I saved the folder to the Crive and tried to start the game by typing pool.bat from MS-DOS but can't get it to work.

Here's what I typed in DOS:

C:\WINDOWS>cd \poolrad
C:\poolrad>pool.bat

And this is what displays next ...

File creation error
Please insert overlay disk.

That's as far as I get. Can anyone help?

Having issues with the download. I've got it downloaded, but can't load the game. Is there something I'm missing? Keep saying I can't format for fullscreen or something like that.

Yes, DOSBox.

Check the post right before yours.
You'll have to use DOSBox. Check tutorial how to use DOSbox to run the game.

How do you download the game? I found the links to download the journal, code wheel, etc, but can't find the link for the actual game
