Quote:
Base Armor class is 10, with each type of armor and exterity adding a certain amount(i.e leather +1, chainshirt +4), and the attacker has two roll a d20(that's a dice with 20 sides), and add it's attack bonus(it grows by level, and magical weapons add to this bonus), and if the number rolled with bonus is bigger or the same as AC, the target is hit... That sounds complicated, but it's actually quite simple in reality... [/b][/quote] Simple? LOL |

Alright, this need to be explained in full, so I will do that in Da Pit.
D&D is not so very much complicated. It is just a matter of adjusting and keeping the manuals handy. |

It is a Role Playing Game you play using pen & paper.
As in you roll dice, record results, record character health & statistics. It's basicly a tabletop game with everyday utensils. |

just that, its a game session between 2-however many people you want, that use paper to create constants like characters and maps and the like, and dice to calculate different formulas to simulated experience. examples are rolls to see if you make a successful attack, and then roll again to see how much damage. you build up characters much the same as you would in a computer rpg.
the session is controlled by a "dungeon master" he takes care of random encounters and the like. |
