Actually, yes, I *did* play TIE Fighter and X-Wing, or I wouldn't have quoted them in my review!
 I stand by what I said though, I still think that those two feel like missions that just pop up one after the other without the gripping storytelling that the Wing Commander's have. Now I like a nice space simulator in which you get blow up bad guys as much as the next gamer, but llike I said, I found myself playing Wing Commander as much for the storytelling as for the flying and hunting for kilraths.But of course, this is only my review, and of course, my opinion. Its only purpose is to give you a taste of what the game might be like, and make you want to check it out for yourselves, and thus, make your own opinion. |

Problem with sound
Hi guys , could you please assist ?
When I run the game through Dosbox 0.73 I get a problem with the voice cutting out , not a big problem in game ( although it is annoying ) but it also causes the intro to hang ! I'm running it with Dosbox's standard Soundblaster config - set Blaster A220 I7 D1 H5 T6 Thanks !  |

Check if GUS=FALSE in your dosboxconfig.
Other possibility is a corrupted download...?
