64bit dosbox?
Is there any chance there's a 64bit dosbox program, or any chance I can get around needing one?

Not really, there are more 64 bit OS you know.
One advise: If you don't have really full admin rights install dosbox in your own documents folder instead of in the X86 sub. Same for the oldgames folder. Will avoid you protection problems.

-> install dosbox in c:\users\your_name\dosbox-0.72\
-> create a c:\users\your_name\oldgames\ -> use for lands of lore: c:\users\your_name\oldgames\ lof\ mount c c:\users\your_name\oldgames\ cd lof lands If you have spaces in your name use mount c "c:\users\your_name\oldgames\" * Use the " " *
