Pretty useless poll. Not much of options considering its supposed to be a popularity contest.

And whats arguable RPG?

As a traditionalist i would have to argue against any computer game being truly RPG. The limited nature, choices and storylines of the games preclude the possibilities of turning the entire story, (and DM, GM etc.) on its/their heads and spiralling off into an improvised, spontaneous experience. lol

Yeah look at it, I mean there you have all your RPG right before you and it's called life. Why playing a role of someone if you can play it yourself instead, it's all happening outside and the choices and possibilities are limitless. I mean why seeking some meaning of a story in some game if all you have is right there, just do it and you got yourself an adventure. There's no RPG more true than that

But if you're playing yourself you aren't really yourself because you stopped being yourself the moment you start pretending to be youself...spooky!

Quest for Glory. Otherwise, I'd go with Zelda based on the list. Fable is decent too, even though I know most people on here hate it. I'd call Fable an RPG though. I can't think of anything else. Never played Deus Ex except for a few minutes to see it wouldn't run on my computer. Never been a big fan of Diablo. I like its atmosphere, but I hate dungeon crawling in any game. I prefer character interaction and city/overworld exploration.

Then you should try out Gothic / Gothic II + Night of the Raven. They have plenty of both. However character interaction, though being fully in digital speech, probably loses some of it's special touch and humour in English. At least I always played only the original, German version.

Arguable RPG is something with RPGish elements.

And people, don't get the impression that I'm a Nintendo fanboy, I really hate Nintendo for the most part.

And if I thought of something for this category I liked better I would have said it...
