Uh... sorry for the dumb question, but can anyone explain to me about the ending? I don't understand it.

i think monkey island 2 is a great game, but i think its just got a slightly different style to mi1, its hard to explain just what the difference is but its there and its something that would make me only give a 4 out of 5 but its still a fantastic game

This game was great i remember playing it back when i was about 8 on my first pc, however i no longer have it
and if it were still available from lucas arts i would purchase it but to quote from there site on "the 3rd monkey island" linked from this review.
The first two Monkey Island games, The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge, are no longer available.
so what options do i have???

Ok I can help you here...

If you read this thread (archived from the old AGS board) you will probably spend a whole day, but at least you might be a little wiser in knowing what happened between MI2 and MI3. But if you want the short answer, that is Ron Gilbert (developer of MI1 and MI2) didn't get to make MI3 and to the developers had to make the game without knowing what the end of MI2 meant either.

only in this part he looks like a idiot...not so cool more as he was in part 1
Are you kidding?

He looked like a total geek in the first, with the high riding pants, the tucked in shirt and the pulled up socks, in this one he actually looks like a pirate. A big improvement if you ask me.

For those looking for 1 & 2...

I dont know if its still available but I got monkey island 1 & 2 in a special collecters pack that contained all four games and had 1 % 2 running from a cd.
The only place I ever saw the pack was in Myers though and cost around $60.
