for a game called "red steel"
http://www.flickr.com/photos/elmoco/124806830/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/elmoco/124806829/ Not bad, considering the specs. Not bad at all. Wifi online play and the Rev controller doesn't hurt either. http://www.endangeredgamer.blogspot.com/ |

TULAC YOU FREAKING TROLL.
There's a limit man, leave the discussion if you have nothing to say other than some annoying bias. Jesus man. On topic - That looks really damn good, but it also looks like a rail-shooter, pretty exciting though. Is it a rail-shooter? Or is it a complete FPS, cause if it is, wow. Looks like it could be lots of fun. I'm gonna go check if they have anything on Gamespot (which they probably won't, lazy bastards). I found out who's working on it. It's from the peeps that made Far Cry and Prince Of Persia, so it looks pretty good credential-wise. For some funky news, there's a Bob Ross painting game coming out for the Revolution, DS, and the PC. I am not kidding, it is 100% freaking true.

I wonder how you could have a proepr, free-movement FPS with the revolution controller, probably by have pedals or soemthing to move around.
Yeah, anyway, like I said last time, the controller has huge potential and if Nintendo manage to pull it off then the revolution mat becoem a console classic. |

Not on rails, did a little research. Control with the analog stick, aim with the wand. Free roaming shooter.
And to answer your question Havell, here is the full controller with analog stick add on (comes with the controller) |

Pigggy, I know you love me, but I'm serious nothing new there something I saw in the days of Sega, or SNES, maybe even before, and how exactly can you steer with only one analog pad, I can't see an effective way...

Well it's easy.
The controller thingy replaces the right analog stick that're on usual FPS games for consoles, so it's just replacing a different type of controller with a new one. Not really much of a difference. Only problem I see is sensitivity, either too much (screen going everywhere) or too little (crawling along) that could be irritating. Lawl, just noticed that guy on the screenshot getting shotted! Geh?

So with the remote control like thingy you control the movement (like with the PC mouse), and with analog you go forward backward/strafe, or at least that's how I got it, the problem is, you have to have your hand in which you hold the remote control like thingy, in the air all the time, aligned with the TV, now excuse me but I think my hand would start hurting after 15 minutes of playing, or did I get something wrong?
