Default Thanks!

Thank you dosraider! Although it was probably obvious to most, I am still generally computer illiterate and was afraid I would mess something up. You learn something new everyday!

As for awakening, you actually need to wait for a few shake-ups (they are not earthquakes as you will discover later) that will awake him. After that you have to press buttons to get up, don't know which one exactly, i never had the problem with it.
I suggest playing on numpad but still don't know should numlock be on or off.

Also, i finished entire game in DosBox 0.65, i didn't know that there might be some problems near the end.

As for the cycles, i actually got the best results when lowering the cycles. I played it on PentiumIII and i always set default cycles to 5000. But in this case it was smooter in 4000 cycles. Don't know about faster computers.
I have almost been waiting or 1/2 of an hour for this great git to freaking wake up!!

Now seriously! There have been no "shake-ups" or anything! Just a bunch of blinking lights! The only button that works currently is the "l" key... Also, when I downloaded the game there was no "bioware.bat" file, is that important at all??

When you have no 'shake-ups' please check your audio configuration.
The game can have problems when your audio settings are incorrect.
This probably has something to do with the rumbling sound...

My DOSBox 0.74 settings when running INSTALL.EXE:

Sound Card Type: "Sound Blaster Pro/16/16ASP"
Sound Card Settings: "PORT: 0x220 IRQ: 7 DMA: 1"
Music Card Type: "Sound Blaster (PORT: 0x388)"

Have fun! (and battle frustrations!...)

Default No sound...

Hi all. I've installed Bioforge OK I think under D-Fend and run the Install, but it crashes every time it tests the soundcard. Any ideas?

Wrong soundcard configuration or missing data files. Pick one.

I have the install.opt file in the folder OK and I've run the soundcard setup under D-Fend first.

OK, so any suggestions that aren't so obvious?

And you are absolutely double-checked certain it's neither of them?
Try a different copy of the game, or change the emulated soundcard and then change the game config to match.
