No, monochrome = only shades of one colour are allowed. So you can use only shades of grey if you wish, but no black or white.

In that case.. can I use my pencil?

I have uber sucky art skills... I could draw take photo.... manip with comp and play with tones. We will see...

Of course not. You can have very dark grey that looks almost black and very light grey that almost looks like white, but it will never actually be white or black. Because it's grey, obviously.

Black and White are not colours.. they are SHADES. You cannot have a shade of a shade LOL :P

@Swiss - I won't use my pencil then... just some old school Photoshop techniques
