![]() Hey all.
Just wondering what is out there in terms of playing old games through Dosbox online and which ones that are really good (preferably something pre-1991 since the emulation from my handheld is pretty slow). Also, is there an easy way to Telnet under Dosbox? I'm using Rubybox as a front end so I'm hoping to find some type of application that has a simple executable. Thanks ahead! |

I do know this: Dosbox emulates different protocols and then sends them through a standard TCP connection. I don't know which protocols are supported exactly but I've successfully managed to play several games over the internet including Doom and Blood, both of which were never made to be played online. But if you're playing from a handheld, I fear that you may have more restrictions than a normal PC would have. You might want to ask over at the Dosbox forums for info on this. Whatever you do, it won't be easy to set up, I'll tell you that |
