I'm just curious if anyone has donated some form of blood or some other bodily fluid. I just recently gave blood for the fourth time, and I'm thinking of donating platelets the next time I go. I thought about being a bone marrow donor, but it kind of frightens me. However, if I die, I am an organ donor.

Well, seeing as i am rather healthy, i should consider giving blood or "platelets".. You aren't alone on the subject of frightened by bone marrow donations

I haven't donated anything yet (might give some blood in the future), but in my donor codicil it says they can use any part of my body they deem worthy (provided I'm dead off course)...
Why does being a bone marrow donor frighten you? How do they subtract it from you by the way??? |

I fear needles, so I'm not going to donate until I'm living! After my death they will be able (according with my donor card) to use everything of my body

I donated blood several times. Though I'm not *that* healthy, who got my blood surely got some nicotine and tar as a bonus :P
