Hmm...hey er...ive been making a game and i find it quite boring to have characters that can only stand there you know? I like them to sit sleep lay down run hug and all that other stuff...but the thing is i have no effective tools to use. I would SO apreciate some help or some guidance as to what I should do.

Well, you are using RPG Maker 2000, I take it?
I'm not quite sure what you mean by tools, but are you refering to tool to create graphics?
In that case you can use almost anything, even Paint that is shipped with Window. Personally I prefer Fireworks MX, though a lot of people swear to Photoshop.

I would suggest you take a look through the net and find a site dedicated to RPG Maker (there are different versions of itt) and ask on the forums there as you are more likely to get relevant answers.

I don't mean to sound like a shameless plug, but you could always visit my forum on Developer Dimensions as this is an RPG Maker site.

yes I have been looking through forums...all im seeing is iDraw and some stuff but the fact is that its not even in englsih x_x...and thats the best one there is they said.

:eeeeeh: the RPG Maker XP is ready in English and even in Russians, all you have to do is search the net, but i think it's not free but it is super, pitty we didnt have programm like this let's say 10 years back when i have plenty of time :blink:

First things first: Why not press the EDIT button if you want to say something new? Multiple posts right after each other looks so messy. Better to change the one you made previously...

Yes, the installation is in russian. The program itself is 90% english though, and what little russian there is is the things that don't normally don't require explanation.
It's a decent enough program, but since it doesn't support transparency and no more than 256 colours I tend to keep my distance.

Graphics System:
I'm guessing you mean what program to use? As I mentioned above i Use Fireworks MX. It's basically the same functionalities as Photoshop, but with a better layout (IMHO).
It's not a free program, though, so this is not the place to ask where to get it (I paid cash). You can check out the product section of http://www.macromedia.com and get yourself a 30 trial copy to see if it's something you want.

What in the name of all that stinks is that? I've used RM2k for a long time, and I have no bloody clue what you are talking about... :blink:
